The most enjoyable thing about college is definitely the new found freedom and opportunity. For me especially, as I am from North Carolina, coming to college has been a big change and it's the first time I've really ever been on my own. I'm able to plan my weekends more openly, and not have to worry about "sneaking out" necessarily. I try to stay busy by joining lots of on campus clubs and organizations or hanging out with my friends. One of the best things about college is meeting interesting people who will encourage you to change your perspective and try new things. I love living in the dorms, where I am constantly around other students who are more or less in the same boat as I am. In a quick summary, the best things about college for me have been: living away from home, making great friends, getting involved on campus, and figuring out who I am and what I want to do.
