Trump Cartoon Response

This cartoon, though obvious in its point, is very entertaining in my opinion. I am not a trump supporter in any capacity and his road to the presidency was nothing short of a circus. How he was able to manipulate Americans into believing he was suited for our country’s highest office is beyond my explanation abilities.

            This cartoon is commenting on how throughout his campaign he was able to completely control the media and give them a juicy story or two along the way. No doubt the media loved all of the drama he was giving them throughout this election, but his comments have hurt millions of Americans and citizens of other nations. I understand that the media has a right and obligation to cover all news and scoop up the best stories, but if I was a journalist I would do everything in my power to put down someone with the ideals and personality of our president-elect. Yes he was able to completely control the press and media cycles throughout his journey to the white house, but is a few months of political comedy worth the years we have in store for us as him as our “fearless” leader.

            It completely baffles me how someone with so little resolve and concern for all races and backgrounds can be so worshiped by the media and apparently a majority of our voting population. Let’s pray that the media controls him instead of the other way around.
