1. Click on "New Post" at the top of the screen next to your email address.
2. Title your blog with a brief and informative title.
3. Insert images, links, etc. - blogs are visual, so there should be something appealing or interesting here.
4. Write your post.
5. Click Publish!
When commenting on other posts, please observe the following protocols:
- Use proper English
- Refrain from using text language and shortcuts
- Respect other opinions and use sentence starters such as, I respectfully disagree, you make a good point, I support………….
This blog is for academic purposes so please respect our intentions by using appropriate language and treating one another with kindness.
Important Dates:
1/18 - University students post their first assignment (see Adam's example) to the blog
1/19 - Sunnyside students read the posts, choose 5 to respond to with additive remarks and/or questions.
1/20 - try to watch the Inauguration (you may have to watch this later on YouTube, as it starts at 7am!)
1/23 - Sunnyside visits the UofA! Watch a clip, then interpret it rhetorically in groups.
2/10 - University blog post / SHS responds by the 15th.
3/3 - Sunnyside visits the UofA! Research
4/13 - English Night at SHS
